Admission: Documents required for applications
For MA Programs
- Application Form
- Bachelor's Diploma - Photocopy of Bachelor's Diploma or interim certificate notarized or certified by the issuing institution. (For Diplomas obtained in foreign countries, their equivalence should be certified by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK)).
- Academic Transcript - The original or a photocopy of the official transcript certified by notary public, in which undergraduate grade point averages are presented, are accepted only.
- ALES (Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education Entrance Exam) Official Score Report (ALES Minimum Equally Weighted Score: 70) - Document should not be older than two years. Or Quantitative Minimum Score of 650 from Graduate Record Examination (GRE) or Minimum Score of 475 from Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).
- Two passport photographs - The photographs to be put in documents should be taken within last two years, bareheaded and beardless.
- The original and one photocopy of ID document with T.R. Identity Numbers (In the photocopy, front and back sides should be placed on the same side in A4 paper).
- Two Letters of Recommendation (From Lecturers)
- Proof of English Proficiency (Official or certified copy)

Candidates who apply to the programs are required to take KPDS or ÜDS or one of its equivalent in a foreign language test accepted by the Inter-university Board and to receive a minimum score determined by the H.U. Senate. Within the framework of the decision of the H.U. Senate dated 30.05.2007, minimum scores required to apply to graduate programs and within the framework of the decision of the H.U. Senate dated 18.03.2009 and numbered 2009-23, minimum scores required for programs whose language of instruction is a foreign language are listed above.
- Statement of Purpose
- Students of Foreign nationals should also submit the documents listed below in addition to the documents stated above:
- Student visa
- Passport
- Residence Permit
- Special students should apply by filling the special student registration form and submitting the documents below:
- Photocopy of Diploma
- Photocopy of ID card (with T.R. Identity Number)
