National Maternal Mortality Study

Turkey National Maternal Mortality Study, carried out by an international consortium involving the Hacettepe University Institute of Population Studies within the "Turkey Reproductive Health Programme",  was completed. The national meeting of the study was held in Ankara (Ankara Meeting Programme) on 8th December 2006 with the participation of province project teams, province administrators, health staff, representatives from non-governmental organizations and international organizations.

The regional meetings of the National Maternal Mortality Study will be held on Gaziantep Grand Hotel in 15th December 2006 and İzmir Balçova Termal Hotel in 22nd  December 2006.
